Deflated vessels are a personal passion of mine. They require my undivided attention while I push the boundaries and elasticity of the clay body. We end up doing somewhat of a dance together (the clay and I), influencing each other’s next move and working in harmony. The end result is a unique visual experience from every angle, making them one-of-a-kind pieces that cannot be duplicated.

This handmade lichen green glaze is applied using a spray gun, fan brush, and fingertips to get the desired running and variation in tones.
